Using the Map
-
Pan & Zoom: Drag to move the map. Use the +/– controls or pinch (on mobile) to zoom in and out.
-
View Parcel Info: Click or tap any parcel to open its information panel, including
owner, address, legal description, and more. When available, a local property photo is shown;
otherwise, the map will use Google Street View imagery.
-
Radial Search: After opening a parcel, use the
“Radial Search” button to find all other parcels within a distance you choose (in feet).
The original parcel will be highlighted in blue and the results in red.
-
Map vs. Satellite: Use the “Map” dropdown in the top-left of the map
to switch between the standard road map and high-resolution satellite imagery.
Parcel outlines adjust automatically for good contrast.
-
School & Commissioner Layers: Use the checkboxes under the search bar to toggle
School Districts and Commissioner Districts. Only one of these layers can be
active at a time so the map stays clear and easy to read.
-
My Parcels (star icon): When viewing a parcel, tap the star in the top-left of the
info panel to save it to your “My Parcels” list on this device. Tap the star again to remove it.
-
My Parcels list: Use the “My Parcels” button under the search bar to see
everything you’ve starred. Tap an item in the list to jump straight to that parcel.
Saved parcels are stored locally; clearing your browser data will remove them.
-
My Location (mobile only): On supported mobile devices, tap the crosshairs button
near the bottom-left of the map to center on your current location and see which parcel you’re on.
Location accuracy can vary based on your device and signal.
Sharing & Links
Each parcel has a unique link you can share or bookmark:
-
When a parcel is open, click the link icon in the top-right of the info panel
to copy a direct link to that parcel.
-
You can paste that link into an email or message so others can open the same parcel directly.
-
The link in your browser’s address bar is also kept in sync as you open different parcels,
so you can bookmark or refresh the page without losing your place.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my property information incorrect?
If you believe your ownership, address, or other information is out of date, please contact
the Assessor’s Office directly so we can review and correct our records.
Why doesn’t “My Location” work?
The location button is only available on supported mobile devices. You may need to enable
location services and grant your browser permission to use your location. Accuracy can vary,
especially in rural areas.
What happens to my saved parcels?
“My Parcels” are saved only on the device and browser you’re using. If you clear your browser data
or switch devices, your saved list will not carry over.
